Fix Your Camp Road for Free

July 15, 2009 - The 30 Mile River Watershed Association is sponsoring free, onsite workshops for maintenance and repair of private roads near its lakes and other water resources.

The two-hour outdoor workshops will consist of touring problem sites and discussing corrective options.

Topics will include erosion control, drainage, road surfaces, assessing and scoping need, prioritizing and phasing work, budget planning, communicating needs to contractors and where to get technical assistance.

Workshops will be conducted during July and August by appointment. To request a workshop, contact Lidie Robbins at 293-2181; e-mail lidiew@hotmail.com; or visit http://www.30mileriver.org.
